In my younger days I was a trumpet player. It wasn't until I got older that I discovered I liked to sing. Some of that had to do with my voice being rather unstable when I was younger. I always liked the idea of it, but couldn't physically do it without my voice constantly cracking.

I was born in 1969, so my childhood and teen years span the 70's and 80's. Consequently, that time period is very important to me, musically.

I played the trumpet all through grammar and high school, and even into my early adulthood. I had initially planned to go to college for music, but later changed my mind. Now it's merely a hobby I enjoy. I'm not trying to begin a music career, nor is it my goal to try to become "famous". This is simply something I do for my own enjoyment, when the spirit moves me.
